Dinner at Megan’s in Chelsea

With some friends visiting from out of town, along with my regular London crew of friends, we decided to have a nice dinner in Chelsea last week and ended up at Megan’s Grill. I would like to thank my dear friend Romina for playing photographer for the night and taking fantastic photos of the restaurant and all of us too.

Operating as a deli by day which transforms into a delightful Mediterranean grill at night, Megan’s is both cute and charming. Megan’s has a cozy relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you are away somewhere on holiday. I have to admit that we all did get lost in the food, wine, and moment with one another. For a moment, I really did forget I was in London until I stepped back outside and saw the cabs.

The food is inexpensive, particularly for Chelsea, and the wine was decent. But by far the largest selling point of the restaurant is its atmosphere. Though the restaurant is little by comparison, it still possesses its own unique personality. The decor and the lights set a very romantic tone in the evening. It was definitely a pleasure to sit in and take in all of the charm. This experience was felt by all of my guests and myself too.

If you are in London and are looking for a charming romantic restaurant, then head to Megan’s in Chelsea. If you are in town during the day, request to sit outside in their equally beautiful and romantic green garden, which is a hot spot for celebrities to tuck away and each lunch, due to the high walls that keep paparazzi out. Day or night, you will not be disappointed with setting and the feeling it leaves you with. Thanks again to my friend Romina for the photos!
