Achievement’s week BahramGour, 2015-05-15 As I told you earlier today in my Instagram post my weeks resume by “Achievement”.For me the good achiever means a person who, in the moment of crisis, always rise to the occasion with the right response, the right decision, the right direction. Unfortunately, this image is based on the misunderstanding that successful people always know what to do. And is far from the truth; most of the time leaders don’t know what they’re (in my case I am) doing any more than the rest of you. That’s why every leader needs a kit of solutions that work against the most common challenges life throws at us. I worked hard during past weeks to figure out those elements and strategies. Here are some practical and effective strategies that work for the challenges I face and I hope you can use them in your daily life as well. In addition you can enjoy some of the pictures I took during my travel to beautiful Strasbourg which helped me enormously to finish below list: Learn from your past experiences. Develop your personal leadership style. Don’t be afraid to fail. Motivate yourself. Keep people informed. Inspire others. Take care of yourself. Find a true mentor. When times are challenging, find someone who has been there before, learned their lessons, and is willing to guide you along the way. A good mentor should have the experience you want to gain, and they should also have a sincere desire to the help you along the way. Mentoring has to be genuine and positive to be truly meaningful.
